We are a mother daughter team who have been breeding since 1995
We are a mother daughter duo who started breeding Golden Retriever puppies in 1994, and incorporated Goldendoodle puppies into our breeding program shortly after. We are small breeders with only a few dogs that we breed, meaning we only have about 2 - 4 litters a year!
We do everything we can to ensure that our puppies are as healthy as possible! All of our parents get hip clearances before they have puppies to confirm they are in top notch structure. We also believe in the old saying, "you are what you eat”, which is why we feed good quality dog food to ensure proper, steady growth for our puppies from the beginning.
We as people can't get everything we need from our food which is why most of us take a multivitamin, so we feel it should be no different with our four-legged family! All our dogs are on the NuVet vitamin and we start all of our puppies on them at about 7 weeks. We also give a 3 year health warranty with all our puppies. We know when it comes to choosing a new puppy to join your family it is a big decision that comes with many questions.
Whitney has grown up with dogs and puppies since she was very young, because of this she has a real love for animals, especially dogs, so in 2018 Whitney quit her dental job and began training dogs full time. This turned into her establishing her own dog training business which she named Milligan Valley K-9 Academy.
With Whitney’s help, we are able to support you and your new puppy through the duration of their life. We take pride in what sets us apart from other breeders, which is our availability and support for you and your pup. Through the duration of your pups life, we are always a phone call away for any questions, concerns, or training obstacles you may have! We will never leave you and your new family member to struggle alone.
You will receive a written 3-year Health Warranty on your new puppy. We are puppy lovers and wish nothing would ever go wrong with any puppy, so we cover certain genetic health conditions. A puppy's health is dependent on a number of factors like genetics, exercise, food & nourishment, and overall care that are not always within our control. While we can't guarantee that your puppy will never have a health problem, we can promise we will do our best to ensure your new family member is healthy from the moment he or she arrives home! We will never leave you in the dark, we will always support you in your experience with your new pup!
It is our goal that our puppies live out their lives with their family. However, if that is not possible for any reason, we will take the puppy/dog back here. We would never want any of the puppies that have been born here at Milligan Valley to ever end up in a shelter. We want them back with us if you cannot keep them for any reason throughout its lifetime, no questions asked. Just contact us and we will arrange to get it from you. We will either keep it here with us or we will find an appropriate home for it.
As a balanced dog trainer, we believe in both yes and no. Our training focuses on building a relationship between you and your dog that is based on love and respect. Just you and the dog learning to work together as a team. Our methods of training are for practical use in your home and in the real world.
Please feel free to email us at the contact form below if you have any questions, however, we get a lot of emails we have to sift through so if we don't get back with you within a few days please feel free to give us a call
